Yes, we know there is no actual Hillman College, but we figured it was a great umbrella name to encompass all that we are. We’re professionals who’ve been labeled as “urban” or “ethnic,” sometimes “multi-cultural,” or “of color” that have made it a point to be ahead of the curve, in the know, and well informed about what’s going on around us. Some people call us “bourgie” but that’s cool because that’s just another way to say we’re hard working. And we put in the work, in the boardroom, the courtroom, the operating room, or the classroom, we’re just doing our thing, and that’s okay.

So maybe you went to Morehouse or Spelman, or maybe you went to Howard or Hampton, you could have gone to the University of Illinois or even Yale. Where you went doesn’t matter as long as you’re confident in where you are and where you’re going.

Some might even call you “uppity” and there’s really no shame in that. In fact, that’s kinda why we’re here. To give you and yours a forum to consume information, exchange ideas, and meet others that are likeminded. So come on in, try us out, have some fun, and waste a few hours with us.
